Rita has shown so much commitment and caring to my daughter. Whenever I feel concerned about an issue with her health, Rita shows much concern. She has never been “too busy” to listen and direct issues. She’s always got a smile on. She has a way about her that puts you at ease no matter the situation. She’s not only my daughter’s nurse; she’s become like a family member. Even though I’m a nurse, Rita realizes that I’m not a pediatric nurse. She allows me to be “mom”. If my daughter comes into the department, Rita can tell by her look if she’s having a good day or bad. I am so thankful to have her on my daughter’s team. I have not come across a nurse in the last 6 years that has been a compassionate, empathetic, caring and genuinely great nurse like Rita has been.
