Nomination Comments:

 Rita has the amazing ability to be able to be extremely professional while delivering personable and compassionate care not only to her patients and families, but also to co-workers. I have observed Rita in situations where she was in charge on the unit as well as having a patient load and she will very patiently stop and in a clear and kind manner explain something to a co worker, patient’s family or student nurse. She is cheerful and kind as well as knowledgeable and a very clear voice of reason during complete chaos. She is a pleasure to work with!
 Rita is always professional, Rita is always calm, and has the answer! She always helps anyone that asks and knows exactly what to do/or how to handle any problem! Rita does all of this while treating everyone with respect and treats all patients with compassion.
 Although I have not had personal care provided by Rita, I have received feedback from patients, families and co-workers about her professionalism, compassion and teamwork.
