In 2021, I went into the Corpus Christi Outpatient Clinic for my regular check-up. I noticed I felt faint when I got out of my car. I waited for my appointment time & when the aide checked my vitals several times and then went to call nurse Riza in the other office. The problem I found out was that my pulse was 30 and they took action immediately by constantly monitoring my vitals and calling my doctor into the room and calling 911 to pick me up and take me to the local hospital. I was taken to the ER and the physician recommended I get a pacemaker immediately. I was in the hospital for several days. I had a new pacemaker implanted by my cardiologist. I feel nurse Riza and the aide's actions saved my life. I feel eternally grateful for their quick actions. I feel I am here today because of what they did for me that day.
