Rizalino (Riz) Salcedo, RN

We came into the ER incredibly stressed out because B was experiencing symptoms consistent with a heart attack. After being admitted, Riz came in and immediately put us at ease. He talked through exactly what the process for determining a diagnosis would be and what to expect going forward. He provided us with plenty of information that was easy to understand and communicate to worried families. He helped alleviate tension during our stay by cracking jokes and building great rapport. I truly believe that if Riz hadn’t been the nurse, the stay would have been so much more stressful and that the testing would have been much more challenging to cope with for everyone. Whenever we needed him, he was there and ready to help and answer questions. We’re so grateful to Riz; he is truly amazing at what he does.
