Roarke Coley Inda, RN
I am writing this to enthusiastically recognize Roarke Coley Inda, RN.
As a staff RN, I had a particularly challenging patient who required a 1:1 safety attendant. On this day, Roarke was assigned as the 1:1, which helped me out so much. Roarke provided excellent care to this patient all day. At one point, the patient needed a specific type of shower, and Roarke was invaluable in assisting me to complete that task.
The following day, Roarke was assigned a patient load near me and we covered each other’s patients if the other was busy, but at one point my patient, the same patient as the day before, was decompensating very fast. A rapid response was called and Roarke was right there at bedside, helping me get the patient attended to and then prepped for transfer to ICU.
He then escorted my patient to the ICU with the ICU RN as another one of my high fall risk patients was exhibiting dangerous behavior.
Due to patient privacy and dignity, I cannot disclose all of the information regarding just how much Roarke had my back those two days, so suffice it to say he made a huge difference to the patient and to me.
