Our dear friend underwent a 10-hour cancer surgery, and then during her recuperation at The Nebraska Medical Center, she suffered a severe heart attack and stroke. Rob was very skilled and professional in providing care to her. But more important, he was compassionate, respectful and gentle with her. He cared for her 3 days in a row and volunteered to come in a 4th day to help with managing her end-of-life. This was so comforting to her family and close friends. It was exceptional how he also cared for us during this difficult time, bringing us donuts, giving us blankets, and comforting us in our grief. It is obvious this is not just a job to Rob, he truly cares for his patients and their families. I am so thankful that my dear friend was cared for by Rob at the end of her life.
