A patient came into the ED during the nighttime with a critical emergency. This emergency potentially could have cost the patient a limb. Due to Robert's quick thinking and previous experience working with tools; in previous jobs, he was able to identify a solution. He quickly notified Plant Ops to bring the proper equipment to the department. He then was able to use the equipment to quickly remove the object from the limb. His quick actions greatly benefited the patient outcome and kept the patient from needing to go to the OR.
