I was stressed by my husband's death this year and my mother was dying. I was very fragile emotionally while in the hospital. My doctor gave me the results of a chest CAT Scan- possible lung cancer. I was being discharged that evening with an appointment for a PET Scan; LT Genzel stayed with me until I was discharged. We talked about the PET Scan, Mom and about staying focused- taking it one day at a time. He even brought me a chocolate truffle! His support and empathy helped me greatly. Mom died two days later- thank you LT Genzel for helping me get though a very hard time.
