Our visit was extra special because we had Robert. He really listened to my concerns and went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was comfortable – not only physically but emotionally.
I always have full faith and trust when coming to the hospital. Our visit was extra special because we had Robert. He really listened to my concerns and went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was comfortable – not only physically but emotionally. Fingers crossed that our visits to the Emergency Center are rare, but if we ever come back I hope to have him as our nurse.

Robert joined the hospital as a patient care technician in the Emergency Center almost five years ago. In August of 2019, he transitioned from his role as a PCT to an RN new grad, becoming a second-generation nurse in the EC. His teammates share the same sentiments: you can’t get a better teammate than Robert. He is always ready to do anything and everything to assist our patients, families, and fellow colleagues. If you’ve had the pleasure to meet Robert you are immediately struck by his kindness, positivity, and genuine compassion for those we serve. He brings a wonderful attitude to work with him every day and is a role model of our core values. Robert has a heart of gold and the ability to see the best in people and uplift those around him. It has been my privilege to watch this young man grow and develop over the years.
