Jason demonstrated pure kindness, empathy, and compassion for a patient who wasn't even under his direct care. He heard that a confused elderly patient enjoyed music, so the next day he brought his ukulele to work. Around 2 or 3 am, the patient became very confused and wouldn't follow commands. Jason got his instrument and played and sang to the music for the patient. She loved it, to say the least. The next night was the same thing except for that night, she sang along! She smiled so big and was so happy; she had actual tears of joy. If that isn't exceptional and caring nursing, I don't know what is!
