Bob went above and beyond to help my mom. From her having a cardiac arrest and needing CPR, which was very terrifying for our family, to the understanding, caring and compassion that he showed not only with her but to our entire family. He was professional, cooperative and kept our family on task, not an easy thing to do with all of us. Bob's bedside manner with my mom was outstanding. She has dementia, is deaf, and 89 years old. The way he treated her with such dignity was beyond the norm. He kept our family informed on what was transpiring with Mom, her condition, updates, etc. so we understood what was going on. He never rushed us, always answered our questions, and showed knowledge and the greatest concern for our mother as if she was his own. Even when she recovered enough to be transported out of ICU, he came and checked on her before he left after his shift. That is compassion and sincere caring of his patients.
I know that her time is limited, but Bob made sure that he treated her with dignity. My mom has a great sense of humor and Bob also went along with it. You are very fortunate to have Bob on your staff. He is a team player, a dedicated nurse, a highly skilled nurse and he has the passion necessary for a successful future.
Thank you, Bob, we feel you are an asset to your profession!
