July 2024 Honoree
Robert Limas, RN, MBA
Robert recently cared for a patient who was extremely anxious about a blood draw and was having a panic attack. She said that Robert "talked her through it flawlessly and painlessly, getting his work done while sharing how addiction had touched his own life." The patient said that he "pulled her back from the shame she was feeling, just as effectively as he did her blood draw". Robert truly has a gift. This patient said that Robert saw a person in her, not a patient with track mark scars. He helped her to feel like a person again. His ability to truly see his patient as a human made a world of difference and changed the way that she experienced healthcare. Thank you, Robert, for putting your heart into your work and making a difference one patient at a time.
Thank you, Robert, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
