He made a scary morning feel human by playing a fun ’80s playlist in the operating room. We spoke about our kids and funny kid stories to break the tension I was feeling. He made a very transactional process seem personal while remaining totally professional. He was also training a new employee and he was so kind, yet direct so she could learn the correct ways to drape, create sterile environments and ensure that the doctors had the table just the way he wanted it. I know his teaching approach was appreciated by the trainee and by the listening ears in the room. Great guy through and through. Good hire with RJ!
