I was visiting a friend while she was in the ER for a medical episode, and then I started having a seizure. According to my friend, Robert Siegmann III literally caught me as I was falling and lowered me to the floor. This isn't the first interaction I have had with Robert. The last time I was here, I was looking for a way out of the pain, and Robert listened. He took time and listened. I have never really had people do that.

This time, when I had a seizure, I had also started to have very bad hallucinations. (Thinking literal bugs were crawling all over me.) Robert stopped me from scratching myself as I was still, what I like to call, a seizure face. He listened to me about why I was so scared when I was coming out of my seizures, as I have had, let's say, bad experiences. And he understood when I finally told him after I came around. Robert showed human decency, and when I felt alone, he made sure I wasn't.

Thank you, Robert, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
