Let me start by saying all nurses are amazing, selfless individuals, and I am often wowed by their commitment and resiliency. They give so much of themselves.
Robert gave more.
He did not need to - but he treated my mom and me like family. He didn't make assumptions, he asked. He did the tough part to get my mom through the worst and bring her back. He came to check on us every day he worked - even though he had other patients. Robert communicated extremely well and made us feel at ease and truly cared for.
He will always have a place in my heart.
