Bob has led this ICU through not only the worst hurricane to hit SWFL but also through a pandemic. He has maintained a fantastic attitude and has shown professionalism even through tough times. Both times Bob was “acting director” as our unit director was out. The amount of time dedicated to the unit has not gone unnoticed and is beyond appreciated. During the hurricane, Bob organized moving both the 2nd and 3rd floors to other locations and kept the staff updated on what was going on. Communication is key and he is always spot on. While the rest of the staff was caring for patients and checking on their loved ones, Bob never complained or let his personal loss affect his professional duties. He deserves recognition for helping the ICU through two disasters.
