I came into the ER with pneumonia already diagnosed by my primary physician. When I left 5 days later, I left with a diagnosis of Heart Failure and COPD. None of this was good news to go home with while my husband sat at home with lung cancer chemotherapy and was not allowed to come visit me the whole time.
I would like to compliment the 3rd floor staff and team for excellent care, but most particularly Roberto. I had Roberto off and on for days and I can't tell you how much extra care was given to me. I know he was busy, but he never made me feel like he was rushing, and always took time to carefully explain any question I had. He even walked me around for a little exercise and showed me a pretty window with a view outside. I am in my 70s and was a bit scared, but Roberto looked after me like he would his own mom. I am deeply grateful.
