My daughter was seen in the Peds ER after several hours of severe diarrhea and vomiting. She was severely dehydrated, dizzy, weak, and just not well. Being a 14-year-old female, she was embarrassed. Robin was kind, gentle, and made her feel very calm and reassured. She listened to my daughter's stories about playing Regina George in the school play and genuinely cared for her as a person, not just a patient. As a nurse myself, I rarely tell other healthcare workers that I am a nurse. There was no need with Robin. She did everything right. Thank you for being a shining light on a very dark night for us. I am sure she wasn't your sickest patient - but you made her feel like she was your only patient. Thank you!
