First, I’d like to share that the entire Dignity Health team as a whole was remarkable.

For never having had a hospital experience, I couldn’t have been blessed more than to be here for my 11-day recovery. Everyone was so kind and friendly, allowing my healing to feel safe and “ at home.”

I had the honor of having Robin a handful of times, or at least it felt that way because of how comfortable she made me feel. Night nurses do not get the credit they deserve!

Yes, we only get to see them a couple hours before bed and upon waking, but they have the role of waking patients to make sure they have what they need, are comfortable through the night, and are “stuck” with the 3 AM poke, which I'm sure doesn’t go over great with most patients.

Robin did all this with a smile on her face, connecting to me each time, letting me know what to expect so I never felt fear. And when the depression kicked in after a few days, she reassured me it was absolutely normal and then shared stories of her pups, her dorkiness, and hobbies to make me laugh and feel she was a friend in all of this.

I couldn’t have felt more at ease in her joy-filled, smiling, and calm energy.

Thank you, Robin!

Thank you, Robin, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
