Robin assured me that mom would be well taken care of.
My mother was a patient at Guthrie Corning Hospital for 3 weeks. When mom was transferred to ICU, I was distraught about having to leave her when visiting hours ended. Robin explained the hospital policy regarding visitors not being allowed to stay overnight with their loved one only for extreme circumstances. She was compassionate and understanding as she talked with me. Robin assured me that mom would be well taken care of. To ease my distress, Robin told me I could call her at the hospital anytime during the night if I felt concerned and wanted reassurance. My mom was doing okay, and her condition remained stable. She was also kind enough to let me call her when I arrived home every evening and would let mom know.
Robin personally checked on mom each day she worked when mom was hospitalized. Her act of kindness in doing this made going home each day bearable for me. The entire time mom was hospitalized we felt the staff, especially Robin, made this unpleasant, unexpected lengthy hospital stay as comfortable as possible. Thank You, Robin!
