My wife was admitted for an emergency C-section 3 weeks early. Scared and with no idea what to expect, both of us found the staff at L&M so calm, warm, and accommodating. After my son was born, my wife spent 5 days in the hospital to watch her for hypertension. Our son was placed in the NICU for a minimum of 5 days, but he had to be observed longer for apnea. My wife was beside herself, upset. She didn't want to leave the hospital without our son, but leaving at all posed a problem with her breastfeeding.

Nurse Robin went above and beyond to secure us a boarding room not being used by the unit after my wife was discharged; she had a bed and a couch placed in the room and checked in on us afterward. We are so grateful for her calm demeanor and passionate attitude toward her profession. My wife suffers from anxiety problems, and the entire unit staff and Nurse Robin were very reassuring and made the entire situation easier to manage. We are forever grateful for them.
