Robin is extremely educated in her field. As a patient, that is very important for me to feel safe and secure in her care and medical decisions for me. Robin went above and beyond her duty as my nurse. Any questions I had were answered promptly and correctly. If she was unsure of the answer, she found out and got back to me. Never once did she make me feel I was "bugging" her or taking up her time.
Robin also has the compassion it takes to be a nurse. All the little things that are actually big things, like cups of ice, drinks, helping me with my hair or just lending an ear to listen, meant more to me than anyone would know. She had faith in me when I did not. My name is a thankful patient and I am an addict. It was Robin's work, knowledge and faith that saved my life. So many times this admission, I wanted to leave but her commitment to me as a nurse and caregiver saved me. I am forever thankful!
