Robin was very reassuring and kind
When our mother presented to the Emergency Department, one visitor was allowed at a time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our mother has been relatively healthy her whole life she suffers only from trigeminal neuralgia. Her carbamazepine was increased to treat pain from trigeminal neuralgia. This resulted in nausea and vomiting. While admitted to the ED, Robin Mancinelli was compassionate not only with our mother but also with the visitors. Robin explained how the increase in the medicine may have caused nausea and vomiting. Robin offered blankets and pillows and was in the ED room every half hour with a bright smile and a caring touch. It was discovered that our mother had A-FIB so she was admitted to identify what medications and treatment would be needed. Robin was very reassuring and kind to our mother who was disoriented and Robin was able to keep her calm. Our mother is also hard of hearing and Robin made sure to speak loudly while facing our mother so she could see her lips move. She truly went above and beyond and allowed our entire family to feel they were being cared for.

Thank you Robin for being compassionate and caring to our entire family.
