It all started when the infant was diagnosed with serious, life-threatening condition in the Emergency Department. "Robin was the nurse that had the task of starting medications that are rarely used, as well as assisting the neonatologist with placement of a central line," the baby's aunt said. "She was very professional and compassionate with her care.
Dave Stroud took over for her at 7 p.m. Dave was very calm and took great care of the baby as her parents waited for the team from Children's National Medical Center to get to Peninsula Regional Medical Center. He not only took care of the patient but provided exceptional service by taking care of our family as well. Dave made the infant's mother feel relaxed and at ease. They both did an excellent job.
