Robin is such a knowledgeable nurse. When she brings patients to the unit she does not leave until she is 100% satisfied that their care has been handed off with complete understanding. Recently she was presented with a patient who had an emergency surgery. The patient had not had an internist prior to surgery and had diabetes and an insulin pump. Robin called the patient's endocrinologist and her surgeon to ensure everyone was on the same page for her treatment before leaving the floor. This is just one example of how Robin looks out for her patients.
