Our Mother/Mother-in-law was diagnosed with Covid-19 in February 2021. She spent almost 2 months in the ICU at Baptist Hospital. It was a very hard time for our family not being able to be there physically with her and without knowing if she would get better. We would call the nurses station constantly asking for updates. We met Robin a few weeks into her ICU stay. He was her night nurse and always went above and beyond. He would carefully explain everything on the phone to us. He pushed her and we believe he is the reason that our mom overcame Covid-19 and was eventually discharged home to us. The care and compassion he showed were something that we could never repay him for. He would meet us downstairs at the hospital and pick up a warm home-cooked meal from us to take to her. He guided us to the back of the hospital where he opened her first-floor window so that her kids and grandkids could see her. He would text us any updates and keep us aware of any developments. He was truly an angel put in her path to help her through this unimaginable experience. We are forever grateful to Robin and truly believe he is more than deserving of this recognition.
