The demands of nursing school can be daunting in so many ways, from the curriculum to the long and exhausting days. Unfortunately, there are even days when students think that they may not make it to graduation. So it is invaluable and sometimes soul-saving to have a supportive classmate who is there for them no matter what. Robin was that classmate. In the numerous nominations that she received, her acts of kindness did not go unnoticed by her fellow classmates. They referred to her kind heart and generous nature. They talked about how she was always supportive of her fellow classmates and never failed to provide a warm and friendly welcome to a new student.  Many of her classmates talked about how helpful she was and said they passed a course due to the study groups she orchestrated.

They said simply, she was the "glue that held the team together."

But what her classmates noticed most about Robin, was her warm smile, her positive and uplifting spirit, and most importantly her hugs. She was known to give the best hugs... EVER! These are the qualities that friends remember, and these are the qualities that patients will remember. These are the qualities that are going to make Robin a great nurse.
