Robin is an extraordinary Nurse. She is as compassionate as she is skilled. Robin demonstrated the breadth of her skills and compassion during a visit with a patient who unexpectedly began to transition dramatically.

Robin's visit with the patient and spouse began at 0900, and she did not leave the home until 4 pm. The patient was in respiratory distress, and Robin administered comfort kit medication to calm him and assist in soothing his breathing. He also needed medical equipment, such as a hospital bed. He was on the sofa, uncomfortable, and unable to get to his bed. Robin coordinated the delivery of equipment and an ambulance lift assist team. While doing this, she kept the anxious spouse calm and informed the out-of-state family while the patient was in crisis.

Robin was able to stay with the patient and spouse until the patient passed. Robin provided the family with a sense of security, compassion, and kindness that will be forever linked with the patient's passing and will be of comfort to them as the family grieves the loss of their loved one.

I cannot express how much this has aided the family during a crisis. Thank you, Robin, for all you do every day!
