Robyn Brechbill, BSN-RN, AAS-EMS

Robyn Brechbill is deserving of this DAISY Nurse Leader Award.  When I think of what a leader should look like, I think of Robyn.  She upholds policies and procedures and makes sure those around her do as well.  She can troubleshoot any predicament you throw her way.  She always comes up with ingenious ways to solve any problem.  Robyn is a firm leader and is well respected, yet she is often the first person staff goes to when they need a shoulder to cry on or an encouraging word!

I’ll never forget visiting a patient here that had been one of our volunteers here for years.  This patient told me, “My angel Robyn came and held my hand.  I had to have a procedure done and I was very scared.  Robyn held my hand the entire time.”  She told me Robyn visited her every day and truly made her feel special.

Robyn was also a key player the day we moved to the new hospital.  She led the receiving team making sure our patients transitioned from the old hospital to the new one smoothly and seamlessly.  She is respected and loved by so many here!
