You made the process of bringing our baby girl into this world an amazing experience. I am a first-time mom so delivering a baby was a completely new thing for me. You came into my room that morning with a huge smile and asked what I wanted throughout the delivery. This was great because I already didn't have the start of labor I had hoped- since I had to be induced. You told me that you would try to have things the way I wanted by advocating for me to the MD's.
When labor progressed to the point of not being fun or comfortable, you helped show my husband some massage/pressure points to help. While you made the whole situation comfortable, you were also very personable. You chatted with us and really made us feel like we knew you. You kept us informed as to how our baby was doing and what the MD was thinking. You were a great coach when the time came to push. My husband said after we left that he followed your lead because you looked like you knew what you were doing. We hope that this nomination shows you that this is where you were meant to be. Thank you so much for your kindness, compassion, knowledge, and fun personality while bringing our little girl into this world. We are very grateful.
