I am a diabetic with a peripheral venous disorder which causes edema in my feet and legs. When they swell they are very vulnerable and I really messed up my foot in early July 2018. After spending four days in the hospital, I was discharged and allowed to go home. I thought I was cured and the foot would heal itself in time. I guess I didn't fully understand the procedures because one morning after a phone call to tell me she was coming to the house, Robyn Lasky shows up at the door ready to attend to my needs. I've been married a long time with a doting wife who at every opportunity spoils me, but the attention I got from this stranger three times a week exceeded any and all expectations. Robyn would arrive each morning with a cheerful smile. Everyone has problems and I'm sure Robyn has them but never once was she anything but pleasant and upbeat. With great professionalism, she would prop up my foot, remove the bandages, clean and repair the wounds and when necessary take pictures. When she thought a wound wasn't responding as it should she didn't hesitate to consult with her colleagues. Eventually, the wounds healed and Robyn told us she wouldn't be coming to see us any longer. I was glad the wounds healed but here's my problem- Robyn integrated herself into the family so completely that we miss her. You'll shortly have to send us another nurse to treat the depression we are experiencing.
