Robyn gave my meds the way they were ordered, she listened when I spoke. She actually cared about what I had to say.
She then made sure that I got warm blankets when I was cold, kept my PCA pump filled without me having to ask. Most importantly, she saw me, she listened to me, she didn't judge me, she took my complaints about pain seriously, was patient, was kind, and humble and most of all cared about me, my feelings, my overall health, and healing. At a time when I was ready to give up and shut down, I was blessed with a nurse, a person, a caretaker who never forgot about me.
