My father had been admitted a fourth time to 9S on 5/18. Robyn had taken care of him before, but was not his nurse during this visit, but she never missed a day of coming in to say hi to dad or us. On 5/20 Dad decided to enter hospice. When I came out of his room to let his nurse know and to start the process, Robyn was right there. She hugged us and held our hands.

Robyn continued to come in throughout her shift to check on us, to make sure we were all taken care of. She was never judgmental in my father's decision, and remained supportive throughout. When her shift was over, she came to say goodbye to us. She would not be returning until Saturday, so we knew we wouldn't see her again. She told us what an honor it was to take care of my father and to meet us. She held his hand one last time.

Robyn's care of her patients shines through daily! She makes it look so easy even when she is busy.
