Dear Robyn, no words can describe my heartfelt gratitude for your many acts of kindness. What was perceived by me to be a traumatic situation was transformed into, well I don’t believe I can call it a truly pleasant experience, however, certainly and without question your actions and those of your colleagues put me at ease.
I can’t thank you enough for the visits in the hospital. Your kindness, sympathy, and caring are a true credit to your profession and to your character. You certainly are nothing short of an angel! Please pass on similar sentiments to your colleagues; although your actions shined the brightest.
I am home resting and recovering very well. The doctors are very pleased with my progress. I can tell you that I have a new found vitality. It is amazing how the world around me has transformed. Everything tastes and smells much richer; I’m able to enjoy foods that I was prohibited from eating for years. The best part of this wonderful gift is that I can experience and have the pleasure of raising my two children! What a blessing.
