RJ completely comforted me. He was in the room crying and was such a huge support.
My mom was in the emergency room and became incoherent, and RJ took the time to make her comfortable all night, even though she was struggling, and none of the medications were working. He still treated her exceptionally and said he felt extremely close to her, even though she was fighting, shaking, and unable to recognize anybody.

When I got there, he made sure to give me all the details of what was going on and told me to go ahead and leave, that he would do his best to get her more comfortable so I could bring my son back to visit his grandma. Right after I left, my mom coded, and when I got back into the room, RJ completely comforted me. He was in the room crying and was such a huge support. It was more than just a job for him at that point. He truly felt my pain and was there for me and told me he felt the connection to my mom. I could never thank him enough for the help, support, and great nursing he provided for my mom and her last hours. He’s an amazing person to me. I felt like more than just a patient or visitor; he made me feel like family, and in times like that, you don’t want to feel like a number or pushed away. I could never thank him enough for what he did.

I know my mom felt his presence and waited for him to walk back into the room before she decided to leave this earth with him there, just to make sure I didn’t hurt.
