I was diagnosed with Stage IIB Ovarian Cancer. After two major surgeries, I faced 24 cycles of chemotherapy. The infusion unit was a place of mixed emotions, but the compassionate care from nurse Rochele Carlos made all the difference. Despite my fear of needles, Roch quickly noticed my anxiety and created a calming environment. Whether it was letting me choose a room with a window or explaining the process, her patience and empathy helped ease my worries during each session.

As my treatments continued and my veins became more fragile, Roch’s dedication grew even stronger. She often went above and beyond, adjusting the IV drip rate to reduce discomfort and reminding me to practice deep breathing. Her clear explanations empowered me to endure the process, and her emotional support gave me the strength to face each treatment with resilience. Roch’s care was not only physically comforting but also an incredible source of emotional support throughout my journey.
