Rocio has assisted me with multiple code blues on her unit within the last few weeks. I can’t thank her enough for her help. I have witnessed her be swift, skilled, but also compassionate during these high stress situations. She is very nurturing not only to patients on the unit but to her nurses and the rounders after the experienced codes or high-stress/sick patients. She has helped me bring patients to the ICU and always stays and makes sure the patient is safely transported. She has updated and consoled families. She is a true definition of a leader and a compassionate nurse. I am always happy to work when she is the lead on 1600/1700. Thank you for all you do!
