Rocio V. Caberte, RN

Rocio was nominated by three of her colleagues unanimously through her empathy and compassion for her patients. She has been described as a "team player", a "true advocate", and "the best listener". These are beautiful and necessary qualities to being an extraordinary nurse. It places Ro (as she is often called) at a level that makes her patients comfortable and safe when being cared for, especially in a setting where surgery is most likely the treatment to improve quality of life. This setting is difficult, at times, to gain trust between caregiver and patient as patients come and go but Ro makes every effort to make a personal connection. She is the epitome of a DAISY Nurse!
