Roxy is incredible! My husband was hospitalized for five days and had three different nurses the first couple of days. Roxy was the day nurse for the last two days of our stay, and I cannot say enough about her! She is thorough in all she does, making us feel truly cared for. Roxy also has a positive and glowing presence that puts a patient’s mind at ease. We never felt like we were annoying her or putting her out. She is an effective communicator and creates a calm, comforting environment. My husband is also a paraplegic, so his care goes a bit beyond the typical patient, and Roxy was hands-on and helpful in every way. She helped him transfer in and out of bed, was sure he moved side-to-side to avoid pressure sores, and consistently checked on his comfort level. When it was time for the administration of a midline IV cath, she assured my husband of the ease with which the nurse would insert it, easing his nerves beforehand. She was right! Kind, knowledgeable, diligent, dedicated, and upbeat are just a few words to describe Roxy. She deserves to be recognized for her very presence and demeanor.
