What sets Rolin apart is the extraordinary work ethic he uses to accomplish tasks which allows time for him to really listen to patient's issues and respond to them. He is also very observant and brings up issues the patients may be too timid to address because all the nurses are so busy. Rolin was the only nurse that took time to ask if a clean gown was wanted, the only nurse who actually called engineering to come fix a faucet that was running, not just dripping. He actually listened to problems and called the Physician Assistant when other staff would say, "make sure you tell the Doctor". He did all this while performing daily chores extremely efficiently and with a cheerfulness that raised your spirits the moment he walked in the door.
