Romnick T Gaffud, RN, MSN
He demonstrates his profound interest in Research through his proactive engagement and execution of the Philippine Army Nursing Service Research Program. He ensured the participation of all nursing service personnel by assigning them specific responsibilities and spearheaded the development of the final output. He presented a research study for the calendar year 2021 titled “Utilization of Emotional Freedom Technique among 10ID Troops Experiencing Anxiety Following Combat Operations: A Comprehensive Assessment.” For the calendar year 2022, the 10ID Nursing Service excelled beyond all other Philippine Army Medical Treatment Facilities when he presented research entitled “Incidence of Hypertension among 10ID Military Personnel and Its Correlation with Overweight and Dyslipidemia,” subsequently receiving the accolade of Best in Nursing Research, First Place. This serves as a testament to his assiduity and tenacity in all assigned tasks and reflects his composure under pressure in diverse situations to which he is exposed. In acknowledgment of his industriousness and commitment to duty, the subject officer was distinguished as the Best Junior Nurse Corps Officer of the Year in conjunction with the celebration of the 124th AFP Medical Service Founding Anniversary and also as the Best Junior Nurse Corps Officer of the Year in relation to the joint celebration of the 85th Nurse Corps, AFP, and the 57th MNAP Founding Anniversaries.
