Ronda Richards, RN

Nomination #1: Ronda cared for my daughter during her recovery in ICU after a major surgery. This was my daughter's first major surgery, and she was in pain and very anxious. Ronda made sure that all of my daughter's needs were met and worries were addressed quickly to help ease the stress of the situation. My daughter really connected with Ronda, and felt very safe in her care. Ronda's bedside manner was calm and compassionate, and she explained everything so that it was easy to understand. This was crucial to my daughter's successful recovery. Ronda went above and beyond to make extended family feel comfortable and welcome as well. Ronda truly makes the world a better place.

Nomination #2: I was a patient there and Ronda was my favorite Nurse. She matched my sense of humor and made me as comfortable as I could be. She made me feel special and took care of me during my stay. She was extremely friendly and easygoing; she made me feel like everything was going to be okay even through my breakthrough pain. She helped me with my breathing so I could get through it. If I ever had to be in the ICU again, I'd want Ronda as my Nurse 24/7.
