My brother has been using drugs and had to be admitted because of congestive heart failure, which is what both of my parents died from. Little back story on my twin brother, five years ago, his wife shot herself, my brother lost himself and it’s been a downhill spiral since. Since his stay at the hospital and being under the care of Ronda, he has actually grown quite fond of her. She has gone out of her way to treat him like a human being, not just another druggie. Now he has been in the hospital before for something as was not treated as well as Ronda has taken care of him. Had you asked anyone about my brother before the loss of his wife and the drug use, no one could say a bad word about him. Actually, they would tell you how amazing he is. Ronda has made him feel worthy again. When he has been upset, she is the only one who can calm him down and get him to listen to her. He is going to rehab after he is released, and I hope she gets this award.

Most people these days just go to work to get a paycheck, but it takes someone special like Ronda to make you feel special like she has done for my brother. She has made his stay comfortable and catered to his needs. Not to mention, she has been wonderful to me as well. The hospital is lucky to have Ronda. This world needs more people like her: definitely a great career choice for her.
