This nurse came to our home for a PCR test. To some, this might seem like a very simple task, but on this day it was for my elderly parents. My father is not mobile or very corporative, and my mother is extremely anxious, particularly when it comes to healthcare workers. This particular nurse was amazing! Which made the whole process seamless! This nurse took the time to explain everything and really connected with my parents – stopped to talk to them, made them smile, and was extremely patient and respectful. I was not at home when the nurse arrived, so I was very worried about how it would go (usually things like this do not go well!) The nurse called me personally, reassured me, and went out of his way to inform me of how everything went and what they were doing when he left. This nurse didn’t just come and swab my parents, he spoke to them, helped them, reassured them, and took the time to connect. From the bottom of my heart, thank you very much!
