She chose to work at MHHS because she wanted to help and care for the people in the community she lives in. She said her goals for working at MHHS is to be a helper and a teammate. She enjoys teaching new nurses to help mold the next generation. “I want to bring joy and laughter to my patients and teammates,” said Ronetta. Ronetta says her inspiration for doing what she does is “feeling like she is making a difference and healing the sick.”

When asked what the DAISY Award meant to her, Ronetta said, “I do not have the words to describe the overwhelming feeling and honor I feel. I am humbled to receive an award for doing what I consider my job.”
