Ronita Jenkins, RN

Ronita was a heaven-sent angel! She was extremely knowledgeable about my daughter's diagnosis, medications, and plan of care. With her first assessment at the tip of her shift, she made sure that we had a plan to control my daughter's pain by reviewing her medicine. Ronita was also a blessing in managing the hurtful, extreme gas that was going through my daughter's torso. Ronita was so kind and caring! She went above and beyond to ensure that my daughter was comfortable & met her physical & emotional needs. Her caring and kind nature also encouraged my daughter to ambulate and progress with her care! My daughter was able to rest through the night, which helped her in her recovery process.

Also, Ronita's knowledge of the pro-surgical diet, which was unique to us, enabled us to have a plan for discharge. We both wholeheartedly recommend Ronita for this DAISY Award.
