Ronnell is an unsung hero helping to keep the hospital running, our colleagues happy, and our patients well cared for. She may not be at the bedside, but her compassion and nursing skills affect all our patients.  

She is responsible for the hundreds of products that our nurses use, and she assures that we have what we need to care for our patients safely and efficiently.  It cannot be easy to balance the need for cost effectiveness with staff preferences and patient outcomes, yet she prioritizes the care of our patients above all else. 

Whenever something goes wrong or there is sudden change, Ronnell is there to make sense of things and provide solutions. We have come to rely on her as our advocate to represent the best interests of our nurses and patients.  She always follows through with every concern or problem that we come across, even when it requires coordinating special, late Friday night deliveries of critical supplies.
 
Ronnell exemplifies the mission, vision, and values of Saint Mary’s and she deserves the DAISY Award because her professionalism, extraordinary collaborative skills, and always uplifting attitude have such a great impact on our nurse’s satisfaction, morale, and ability to perform patient care.
