Ronnie Boyles is an excellent team leader. He expands his qualifications thoughout the department. He is great at accessing IVs and drawing blood.

I recall working with him one day and there was an elderly lady in the Emergency Department. She screamed every time someone came to access her to draw blood. Ronnie went in and spoke with the patient, settling her down, got access and drew her blood. I love seeing Ronnie's face when he achieves such an accomplishment. Our medical doctors say he can draw blood from a stone.

Ronnie is always called upon to start IVs on the patients that have been stuck several times with no success. He always gets access on the first try. His skills are greatly appreciated throughout the department by all staff and patients. Nurses from every area of the Emergency Department use Ronnie to get access. He gets it the first time, every time.
