All the nurses were wonderful during my recent stay, but I am especially grateful to Sylvana. I got impatient after waiting hours for procedures and test results and was ready to leave. Sylvana urged me not to and begged me please to stay just for another fifteen minutes, while she called a doctor who rushed upstairs to dissuade me from leaving. The two of them persuaded me to stay for further treatment, and for the entire stay, Sylvana amazed me with her warm, charming, cheerful, competent, and concerned care. Sylvana has the greatest personality possible, and she is so accommodating and capable that I was ashamed of my earlier impatience and simply grateful to be in her care. I am in awe of her dedication, professionalism, and huge heart. To me, Sylvana epitomizes what it means to be a nurse, dedicating oneself to serving others. I'll never forget her.
