I came to Cardinal Hill following a stroke and a craniotomy and there was one nurse who really stood out to me above the others- Rosalba! She always asked me how I was, did neuro checks, looked at my incision and listened to my chest. This was not something that anyone else assigned to my care did, which shows me that she genuinely cares and was going above and beyond. After about my thirteenth day here, my incision began leaking fluid. Rosalba was right there addressing the issue in a very calm manner, which helped me stay calm. Rosalba also cared about my mom who was assisting with my daily care, asking if there was anything she could do to help my mom so that she could rest. Rosalba is top-notch in the nursing field, and you know she sincerely cares about the patients. She is professional, confident, and skilled and it shows up in the care she provides! We knew we were safe if an issue arose.
